Does it Spark Joy?

Okay, I get it. We all got caught up with Marie Kondo’s way of doing things. And if that is not enough, we all are now asking question such as “Does it Spark Joy?” not only in pertaining to our clothes, shoes, makeup, kitchenware, etc, but also to deeper things such as experiences, people and places.
I’ve been rummaging through my current journal and I’ve found that I’ve made a list of the “ Things and Experiences that Spark Joy” in my life.

I believe I’ve written it one morning when I arrived extra early for work last February. Thanks to my trusted Wunder ride!
Without further ado, here are What Sparks Joy in my life and after reading this, I encourage you to write and journal and even share with the world your personal list!
Discovering a New Healthy Place
I feel fortunate that I work right next to Real Food here in BGC wherein I can instantly buy mushroom or kale chips, vegan cheese, coconut yogurt and even frozen vegan meals that I can cook at home. I love going here every lunch time and just check out their goodies. It’s like therapy for me!
Strolling around/near the Beach
The last time I “officially” went to the beach was last 2013 when I went to Boracay during the “Laboracay days”. I feel so much at peace and so much presence when I’m at the beach. The sand, the sun and the waves do their magic all the time and I just can’t wait for Holy Week cause we’re going to a beach destination with the girls gang and I can’t wait to soak up in the sun once more! It’s been 6 years already! Just about time, Raw Beauties, just about time!
Writing my heart out
I’ve been blogging since 2011-2012 and I was using Blogger platform before. I love to write and express how I feel. Writing makes me more connected to the world.
Creating Youtube Videos
I’ve been vlogging since 2016, well not regularly but I’ve made a commitment to release at least 1 vlog every month as a start. I’ve been successful so far with my makeup vlog and I’m going to release my THENX workout vlog this March. So stay tuned! Eating at Vegan restaurants
I love discovering new vegan places in the metro. Cosmic is one new vegan restaurant that I want to try + Try Vegan by Lakapati Basa.
Drinking NO sugar Milktea
I’ve been having milkteas once a week now! I know right? I love D’ Cream’s Wintermelon milk tea, no sugar and lots of creamy milk with soft, chewy boba pearls!
Taking beautiful pictures
Pictures captures memories that’s why I love to snap away most especially if it’s a special occasion with friends, family and loved ones!
Traveling and discovering new places especially Europe
I love traveling and eating my way around little villages abroad. I love being a tourist, really. So far, I had been to Prague(my first ever Europe country that I’ve visited back in 2011), Vienna, Austria, Belgium, Auschwitz, Paris and Lille France to date. There’s still so much more to see! I would love to visit Greece, Italy, Monaco, Bali and Peru for a start in the next few years!
Shopping for new clothes, bags and shoes
Who doesn’t love shopping? Everyone does! I get excited when I save for a specific item. The top 3 on my shopping list right now is a Louis Vuitton Never full Bag in Cream white, A Black Chanel Classic Chain Bag and a Tory Burch Classic Ballet Flats Shoes! In terms of Jewelry, I would really love to own a Return to Tiffany Silverware Chain Necklace and Bracelet! I love how silver the collection is!
Yoga
I’ve been doing Yoga since forever! I’ve done Bikram, Hatha, Power Yoga and the likes. I just stopped for almost 2 years and right now I’m starting all over again. It’s challenging, yes especially on a mental level to stay with the asanas for at least an hour but in the end it’s always worth it!
Finishing a HIIT workout routine
I’ve been doing Tabata workouts for a while now( 45s on 15 s off) from an app I downloaded on my phone. It helps me to work at my most efficient state cause I only workout for 30 minutes at the most. I have a love and hate relationship with my workouts TBH.
Receiving messages that say they read my blog and are inspired by it
I love when I get messages from you guys that you love what you read in my blog. It touches my heart and inspires me to create more content for you!
Meeting someone for the first time
I love lengthy conversations with strangers. It just opens up a lot of first hand experiences that I learn so much from.
Spending quality time with my family and loved ones
I believe everyone feels that same with this. I always tell my mom, “Ma, can we always be together? “ I just love her!
Waking up extra late and snuggling on bed
The most thing I love about Saturday morning is that I get to wake up whenever I want. No cranky alarms, just pure bliss from extra hours of sleep.
Meeting my soulmate/partner in life
I know you’re out there, I can’t wait to meet you!
Fitting in my XS clothes once again
Yes, it will definitely spark joy once I fit into my old clothes again. Not only it will save me tons of money, it will help boost my confidence and physical strength once again from the physical exercise I put in to achieve the body that I desire J
