How I’m Loving my Size Right now and Why You should Too!

If you look at this picture, you can see how skinny I WAS. Well that was how I looked like 2 years ago when I was completely vegan and almost 70% Raw Vegan, meaning all I’m having are fresh fruits, green juices, green smoothies and the occasional salads. I would eat cooked vegetables once a day with red rice when I’m “cheating.” Oh and by the way, I was working out almost 6 times a week, sometimes twice a day, both cardio and weight training. I loved every moment! Though I honestly wish I’ve gone to the beach more and have taken bikini photos cause I was really fit, like REALLY FIT! Oh well, guess I would have to start booking trips now to the beach(for content and throwbacks in the next few years, you know the drill people! )
And look at me now.
So much changes right? Rounder face, bigger hips, have a chubby belly right now, fatty arms. Well yes, I’ve gone chubby, I don’t want to say fat, just chubby! With my current lifestyle right now, I get to rarely exercise but I’m already planning to do at least three to five times a week of 1 hour Yoga to regain my flexibility back and for overall mental and physical wellness reasons. I’m still wondering how I’ll be able to do that but I might as well start a self practice first through online Youtube videos or from www.doyouyoga.com. They have a 30 day Free Yoga Challenge and I might as well take advantage of that!
Ask me, Am I happy right now even though I’ve gotten more than twice the size bigger two years ago?>
HELL YES! I’m in such a beautiful place right now with myself, with my body, with my career( well I’m still starting out but I love my job really! I get to be creative and playful with it plus I learn the BEST FROM THE BEST SALES entrepreneur in the whole world! ), with my personal life and with life as a whole. The only downside was I had to buy new clothes that are bigger than my previous ones. But I still have the hopes of downsizing a few years down the road so here’s a tip, don’t throw away your small clothes just yet, keep them but not all of them, you can donate a few but who knows that in a few years after a consistent Yoga practice and a Whole Foods Lifestyle, your body gets to adapt to a smaller frame! Voila! You now have oversized shirts and blouses plus your old clothes that didn’t fit you a few years back! So don’t lose hope!
I may not be in my fittest and sexiest state hahaha, but I’ve never felt so good in my entire life. Chad, from PrimedLifestyle is right when he says that Nutrition is just number 4 in your priority list to live a healthy and balanced life. Your environment matters, the people you surround yourself with matters ( and quite frankly, The Universe has been amazing with aligning myself with vibrant and successful people and I’m eternally grateful for it ), your sleep and activity levels matter, your sun exposure matters…the list goes on and one. Oh, one last, Your Mental and Emotional Health matters. You may be eating organic, whole natural foods and working out in the gym at least five times a week, but if you’re mentally unstable or depressed, it won’t help at all. You’ve got to be in a state of flow with your well being to experience bliss living your life!
And yes you’ve got it right, I’m quite happy where I am in life right now and this mindset boosts overall health. You’ve got to get certain elements in your life right and in place. If you are currently struggling with this right now, ask yourself, is it because I’m placing too much resistance with WHAT IS in my life, for example your weight, are you being too hard on yourself? When you’ve identified this part of your life that’s not flowing right, you can create a massive shift in your perspective and allow a FLOW STATE OF MINDSET.
So allow your body to carry that extra 15 pounds, eat healthy with people who inspire you to do and be better, and make time for activities that nourish your mind, body and spirit. The extra pounds may take some time to be shed off but if YOU start accepting and embracing where YOU ARE RIGHT NOW with your body, you’ll see everything else fall into place.
