A New Beginning: Midyear Life Update

Hi Raw Beauties!!!

It's been a few weeks since I've last given you a Current Life Update and I think a few things are happening right now that I would love to share to you guys!

In as much as I want to be a full time Social Media "Influencer" through this blog, my Youtube channel and through Instagram, I am aware that as of the moment, it wouldn't help me get the independent life that I aspire for and a life wherein i can give back to my family, largely in ways that I can imagine.

To cut the story short, I've decided to get a job, a real job. And so my journey of applying through Jobstreet, Indeed and Kalibrr started. I started actively looking for jobs a few months ago last May 2018, now that's 2 months of job hunting.

During that time, I was also torn if I should get back working in the kitchen as a cook or get an office job wherein i get to dress beautifully every day, and wear my heels and be pretty and all that. I'm kidding, an office job is as tough as a kitchen job, except the grueling working hours and the criticism you get from your Head Chef, it's not that glamourized as you think it is!

And so I have decided to look for both at the same time and decide along the way.

In the past two months, I had been interviewed for a kitchen job, also for a lot of offices looking for writers and executive assistants. At most after every interview, I thought that was already it. But then, I would be disappointed not getting any more further calls after the initial interview, and I was like doomed. But I wasn't the type who gives up.

My mom and the whole family are very supportive of this pursuit of mine as I have previously worked for our family business and we all thought and believed that it is about time that I explore the ropes and get out there.

And I'm so happy I did!

As of me writing this blog, it's my very first, exciting day on my new job! I'm so excited! The work environment looks great and I just can't believe that I'm working for a business expert and Millionaire Maker, Mr. John Rankins! He's at the top of his career and helps thousands of people to get their business flourish and prosper! He's on the same line as the famous Gary Vaynerchuk.

There! I've spilled it! And I think I've got some amazing colleagues right here and I just can't wait to work with them!

I know this is going to be an awesome experience and that I'm definitely going to do my best and make the most out of it! Loving the energy and the vibe here so I'll definitely update you guys after around 3 months how I'm doing!

And oh, before I forget, I actually made the commitment too to exercise after work, 1 hour of cardio and weight lifting cause we're out of office by around 6:30 - 7:00 PM and we need to be there early so I've decided to be a night person at the gym instead. :) Just sharing some good old vibes to you out there! Let's get FIT AND HEALTHY, ALRIGHT?
