Last Hurrah: Fitcon Manila Day 3

They say that good things must come to an end.

Even Fit Con Manila must come to an end.

It has been one good ride of meeting new people, learning about fitness stuff and trends that we truly care about and experiencing being in its own essence per se.

I have decided to once again take Garnet Suidy’s class Body Art Extreme and it was a bit intense than Body Art Groove and Body Art Flow. I loved it though that’s why I’m saving up for it ( Body Art Level 1 Instructor Training Program ) this coming end of October! Garnet will be teaching and I just can’t wait to experience his magic as a Teacher and learn from him and acquire the skills that one needs to teach! So keep posted for that, Raw Beauties! I told Garnet, I would be a Body Art Instructor in this lifetime, and yes I will be!

Next up would be a 2 hour cooking class workshop by The Nadine Tengco whose expertise really is at par with international brands that does meal service delivery programs. She really knows her business well and she definitely delivers just take the Anne Kapal Program for one, she made Anne Curtis lose 10 lbs in 10 days with her Slim and Glow Program Protocol which basically eliminated everything that makes you bloat and helps flush away manas. Basically those things are whole grains (even brown or black rice are included in the not to eat list), sweet potatoes (they make you bloat),all fresh fruits except papayas and pineapples (which should be juiced by the way), bread,chocolates,and all types of junkfood! What she recommends are whole foods such as fish, veggies (cruciferous vegetables are not included), chicken, herbal juices which help your body cleanse, papayas, coconut yogurt, avocadoes,dark chocolate and all food rich in mono saturated fatty acids. She even shared a coconut yogurt brand that she trusts here in Manila!

Here are some of the stuff that we cooked during her class!

It was fun and a very informative session with Ms. Nadine Tengco. Everyone loved her fresh and vibrant personality which radiates a positive aura from her! She really is a living inspiration of being sexy at any age and at 51 she looks freaking amazing! No bloating for her! Which is what I’m working out right now to remove excess fats from my midsection and flush out the manas and bloating all over my body!

As for our Key Note Speaker, it was Coach Glenn Ang who gave it and here are a few things that stuck in my head from his speech.

Always have the mindset of a learner, a beginner. Even though Coach Glenn has already received a lot of rewards and has gone a long way in his journey of health and fitness, he still has a humble heart of a beginner which makes his success almost sweeter! He also emphasized the importance of having a great mentor in one’s life. Someone to look up to and someone who can guide you throughout life!

After which we had lunch and my newlyfound friend, Ruth from Little Fit Bella Blog, headed straight to Garnet’s Conscious Movement class which was more of a experiential class rather than a lecture based one.

Then it was about time for the last lecture of the day, I chose Coach Glenn Ang’s Self Care Strategies to help you move better and live better!

What a day it had been! I was dead tired for 3 days straight of waking up at 6 am to get ready before the 8 am class but it was all well worth it!

In those 3 days I’ve gained what one could have gained in one year! I have learned so much and I have had the momentum I needed to start working out again! Even if it feels so challenging now, I talked about this on my previous Instagram post( follow me, itsme_rawbeauty), I know I’ll find my rhythm back again and start to regain my power back in working out!

I’m so grateful for the Dynamic Duo, Rica Rodriguez and Divine Masinsin for making this Fitcon Manila 2018 happen and for allowing me to cover for it for three days! Thank you guys for having me and I would love to be at Fitcon Manila 2019 too! To all of you who had been there throughout my journey reading my blog, thank you so so much and I sincerely appreciate your warm support for what I do! I love you guys! Here’s to more health, fitness, beauty and wellness content delivered right in front of your screen!
