Beauty From Within

I honestly felt a rebirth took place within.

It was such a deep, deep love affair..a conversation I had with my Inner Child…that I love her no matter what..that I accept her..that I’m always, always here for her. And for once in my life, I felt such genuine love for myself..for who I am..for all my strengths, my flaws – yes, most especially those flaws..for the first time in my life, I didn’t feel the need to validate myself- I didn’t feel the need to do anything..to be approved by anyone…for the first time in my life, I felt Enough. I felt Beautiful despite the physical challenges happening within my body..for the first time in my life,I loved and accepted Me, for Me…that I am okay..and yes, that I’ll be better…

It was also a breakthrough as I clear myself from judgement..I felt so liberated and at the same time, it made me realise why I started The Raw Beauty Project..it made me realise that as I aspire to inspire and empower women not only to be their most beautiful, and to live healthy and balanced creative lives, I must see the Beauty Within Me first.

I must accept all of myself first – yes,again all my strengths,flaws, imperfections – all these things that make me human…that make me whole…and in that certain process, I did.

And yes, I continually will for the rest of this beautiful life…

Faces of women closest to my heart flashed in my memory..my mother, my Mamita, my Aunts, and eventually even girls I’ve randomly rode the elevator with…

And all I’ve felt was this Light..this Beautiful Light shining upon each and everyone..that indeed, we are all Beautiful in our own, unique ways..and most of the time, this drama in our heads keeps us from seeing that Beauty Within…

We must remember that the conversation that we have with ourselves is very very important to our health, growth and yes, spiritual evolution as empowered women of our time.

“I am deeply, deeply in love with who I am. I love myself and I see Beauty beyond my imperfections. “

This is a statement I wish to impart to every woman out there. You are Beautiful. You are Enough..You are more than enough, actually..

You are the Universe. You ARE…

You are.
