So what does it truly take to be one?

Know that the following statements are that of a humble opinion and a personal perspective gained from a Journey of Self Healing, Health and Wellness that led me to discovering the benefits of A Mostly Raw Vegan Diet, which is one of the core foundations of a Raw Beauty Lifestyle.

The essence of being a Raw Beauty goes way way beyond Plant Based Nutrition – though it is an important aspect as such allows one to connect more to One Self, and that to other Raw Beautiful Beings as well.

  • A Raw Beauty knows that he/she must take good care of his/herself – that he/she may be able to serve others Fully

  • A Raw Beauty values Proper Nutrition coupled with A Regular Exercise Regimen as an Essential to achieving Holistic Wellness.

  • A Raw Beauty immerses his/herself with a consuming passion in her chosen creative field that allows such to express One’s Soul.

  • A Raw Beauty embodies Compassion, Compassion to Oneself, to others and to that of our Environment.

  • A Raw Beauty lives a life of love, abundance, health, happiness and most importantly, a life of Calm and Inner Peace.

  • A Raw Beauty recognises the dualities of the world that he/she lives in – joy/ sadness, lightness/ heaviness, comfort/ challenges, and so on. He/She breathes in and out and accepts the things that cannot be changed and does take control of things that could be such as – Health, Nutrition, Mindset, Spirituality, Attitude and Life Perspective.

  • A Raw Beauty never gives up on his/her dreams in life no matter what sacrifices he/she must make to make it happen.

This Raw Beauty List could go on and on as such abundance of wonderful words to describe the traits and qualities that encompass this Lifestyle is just immensely broad. J Well I guess, I’ll be saving that up for future posts!

Oh, I almost forgot one very important thing!!! A Raw Beauty, being the beautiful person that he/she is, loves A Raw Beauty Smoothie, especially this Classic Green Smoothie that you could easily recreate from home! Gone are the days when you have to pay for so much for so little as you open your doors into making the time to create your own food.

So if you’re looking for a quick breakfast recipe, a post workout drink or even an afternoon pick me up snack, well, what can I say? You’ve looked at the right place! Read ahead for the recipe, you Raw Beauty you!

Classic Green Smoothie

An Original Raw Beauty Smoothie Recipe

Serves 2

Ingredients:

4 bundles of Kangkong/ Camote Top Leaves

(or a mix of both)

2-3 cups water

6 medium sized bananas, saba

3 whole mangoes

¾ cup coconut milk(almond/ any plantbased milk)

1 cup ice

Gosh, I pleasantly apologise to interrupt but just writing the ingredients above makes me look forward in making this for me and my Pops tomorrow! Ofcourse, with so much happiness, love and enthusiasm! Ok so now for the super easy directions that will leave you questioning why haven’t you tried making this Raw Beauty!

Direcitons:

1. Lovingly pick the green leaves and soak them up with a mixture of water and white/cider vinegar for 15 minutes. Pre soaking and straining them the night before is such a great idea and you could just portion and freeze them to use for the next day. J

2. Blend the green leaves with water first up until it becomes a “pureed” liquid mixture. Then you can add up the ice. Blend quickly once again.

3. Add up your mangoes, bananas and coconut milk.

4. Check if you’re getting the right consistency for this Smoothie. It should be just right – not too thick, not too watery as well. Use your intuition, taste it and add a half cup of water, ice, or coconut milk if necessary. J

5. Pour on glasses or mason jars. Sip and enjoy! J

Raw Beauty Tip:

Should you feel creative and have the time, you could doll up your Smoothie and eat them health and pretty just like these two! Just pour them on a glass bowl, top with your favourite fruits, I like these with fresh sweet papaya cubes, peanut butter, a few edbileflowers and sometimes, mango cubes as well! Eat them in a calm, peaceful and loving manner and truly feel the nourishment that Raw Food gives to your body.

Love Yourself, Raw Beauties! :*

Hugs,

Raw Beauty Ambassador
